COLLEAGUES from Upwell Post Office took part in a sponsored walk to raise funds for Macmillan since sub-postmaster Keith Salmon was diagnosed with bowel cancer last November.
Keith has been undergoing chemotherapy since Christmas and this spurred on Pam, his wife, and the girls to do something to raise money for a cancer charity.
On Sunday they put on their walking boots, put the picnic in the boot of the car and took part in the Miles for Macmillan walk from Cambridge.
Pam said: “Everyone at Upwell Post Office and Upwell Mobile Post Office would like to thank all those who kindly donated to this worthy cause. Donations will continue to be taken for the next two weeks.
“We hope to raise in excess of 1,000 for Macmillan.”
