A MOTORCYCLIST killed in a collision on the A47 in Fenland on Saturday has today been identified by police.
Henry Jarman, 90, of Millfield Road, Deeping St James, Lincolnshire, was involved in a collision with a car on the A47 Thorney Bypass, between Peterborough and Wisbech.
The A47 was closed for several hours around the crash scene - at Old Knarr Fen Drove near Corner Farm - following Saturday’s collision which happened at 12.26pm.
Among emergency services at the scene was a team from Magpas Helimedix. Volunteer Dr Peter Holden and paramedic Simon Standen were flown by the Magpas and police helicopter.
The driver of the other car sustained minor injuries.
