AROUND 150 fun runners helped raise more than �1,000 for Help for Heroes in March on Sunday.
March Athletic Club organised the 5km fun run, which started at the George Campbell Leisure Centre, and saw 159 runners raising money for the forces’ charity. Many also took part in Spinning sessions before and after the race to raise further funds.
Derek Tibbs raised �110 and Connor Porter raised �100 towards the current provisional total of �1,173.
