MORE than half of Fenland’s schools will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday) due to industrial action.
Staff are among public sector workers taking part in the nationwide day of action - and the action has already prompted 21 schools in Fenland to close.
A further four schools are partially closed, with nine schools announcing that they will be open as usual. Six schools are yet to inform Cambridgeshire County Council whether they will be open or closed.
Four West Norfolk schools are among more than 100 across the county which will close due to the industrial action. A further two schools in Lincolnshire have announced they will close.
