I FULLY support opposing Cambs Fire and Rescue Service’s cuts – but why aren’t the emergency services allowed to use red diesel?
Farmers who have cleared the roads during wintry weather have been given permission to use red diesel by the government so why can’t the emergency services as well?
I have spoken to someone at Wisbech fire station who thinks the fire service could save a fortune if it used red diesel.
