DUE to the popularity of its recent quarterly ‘At home’ meetings in Chatteris Library, the Chatteris Community Archive Network has moved in to the Vermuyden Room at the library for the June presentation today (from 2-5pm) to provide more space.

To launch the weekend of the Historic Jubilee Festival it is thought only right to exhibit some of the collection of the 1953 celebrations for those not ‘online’ and offer again the King Edward School class photos, taken by Maurice Kidd at that time, for the archive to obtain name recognition for the files.

There will also be the collection of other archive and museum photos for perusal, discussion and help with events, dates, names and memories from those who “were there” to help the group build the archive for the future.

Thanking you in anticipation,
