A CHARITY football match hosted by a teenager who lost his mother to cancer has helped raise nearly 1,500.
Jamie Fielding captained one of the sides during the game at the Field of Dreams in Whittlesey last weekend.
At 17, he organised the match to raise money for Sue Ryder and Thorpe Hall after his mum, Andrea, passed away from cancer in 2008.
“There was about 100 people down and we’ve nearly raised about 1,500, which is great” Jamie said.
A minute’s silence was held at the beginning of the game.
