STRIKER Simon Mowbray scored his first goal for Wisbech Town as they waltzed to another impressive pre-season win last night.
The Fenmen followed up their 4-1 win over rivals King’s Lynn Town by breezing to a 3-0 victory away at United Counties League big-spenders Spalding United.
Mowbray put the Fenmen ahead after half an hour, before Dubi Ogbonna doubled their lead in the 47th minute with a simple finish.
Ollie Gale completed the victory in the 52nd minute as he threw himself at Callum Reed’s cross to head home.
Steve Appleby’s side travel to the GER to take on a new-look March Town United outfit for the annual BKD Cup on Saturday (KO 3pm).
