MORE than 150 Year 3 and 4 children from Westwood Junior School, in March, took part in The Magical Christmas Jigsaw, the school’s Christmas production.
Each class rehearsed a scene in the classroom and then performed it on the night, with all the individual bits adding up to a complete play.
Their rehearsals were interrupted by the Ofsted inspectors but the children knuckled down and were able to entertain a crowd of 200 parents last Tuesday and Wednesday night.
Lucetta Crosskill, the Year 3 teacher, paid tribute to the young performers. She said: “The children sang really well. They really enjoyed doing it.”
