DESPITE the snowy and windy weather conditions, nearly 90 people saw the haggis piped in at March Conservative Club’s annual Burns Night celebrations on Saturday evening.
The evening was hosted by John Lundrigan and his wife Kaye and the newly refurbished function room was decorated with swags of tartan.
The haggis was piped in, carried by Chef Jamie and the address was given by Mr Lundrigan.
The haggis was served traditonally with tatties and neeps and a tot of whisky.
Burns Night, celebrating the Scottish Bard Robbie Burns, has remained a popular celebration for many years at the club.
