YOUNG competitors from March Marlins swimming club excelled at the Cambridgeshire County Championships.
Over the four days, the 14 swimmers set 18 personal best’s and three club records.
At the open water championships Gemma McGowen won the Cambridgeshire aspect of the championships and was presented with a Novice Trophy for Open Water swimming.
At the Nottingham Open Meet, two swimmers represented March Marlins in the Masters races.
Richard O’Leary achieved a third and two sixth place finishes while Martyn Fresher achieved a clean sweep, winning all seven of his races.
