FENLAND councillors will make up one third of Cambridgeshire County Council’s cabinet for the next 12 months before the committee system comes into force.
Member for Whittlesey North Councillor Martin Curtis, who was elected Leader of the Council at Shire Hall on Tuesday, appointed March councillors Steve Count and Fred Yeulett to his nine man Cabinet.
Member for March North Cllr Count has retained the Resources and Performance portfolio, while Member for March East Cllr Yeulett has been handed the Adult Services portfolio.
Member for Norman Cross Councillor Mac McGuire was appointed Deputy Leader of the Council.
