Kettles will be boiling across Fenland on Friday when organisations and fund-raisers take part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Among the people and places holding events are:
• Barclay’s Bank branches in March, Wisbech and Chatteris
• St Augustine’s Parish Centre, Wisbech, from 10am-2pm.
• VIP Hair, Walsoken, from 9am-noon. Cakes and plants will be for sale and there will be a raffle.
• St Peter’s Junior School, Wisbech, from 9.30-11.30am Includes a tombola and raffle.
• Wisbech Christian Spiritualist Church, in Alexandra Road, from 10am.
• Tydd St Giles Golf and Country Club, from 11am.
• The Oliver Twist, Guyhirn, from 3.30pm. Includes a competition for children and a raffle.
• Love Sasa, of March High Street, will serve Caribbean treats, during opening hours.
• Heron House, March, from 10am-noon.
• Wimblington Parish Hall, from 10-11.30am. A raffle will also be held.
• Linda Harness holds a coffee evening at her house in Cedar Avenue, Doddington, from 5pm.
• Manea Methodist Chapel, from 9.30am.
• King Edward Centre, Chatteris, from 10am.
• Emmanuel Church, Chatteris, from 9.30am.
• March, Chatteris and District Committee for Macmillan holds its event on Sunday at Chatteris Working Men’s Club from 10am-1pm.
