Items made by staff and students from FACET were on sale at the charity’s Christmas fair at its March headquarters, which raised a total of £555.
FACET - which works for the benefit of adults with learning disabilities across Fenland - also welcomed a visit from Santa who was in a grotto set up in the sensory room at the Marwick Road premises.
Charity chief executive Linda Ingram said: “We were delighted to have such a good turn out on the day. We had lots of stallholders and the Mayor of March, Councillor Andrew Pugh, paid us a visit.
“We were able to sell products made by our staff and students in our woodwork, art and craft and horticulture departments. All the money raised will be used to buy equipment for our students.”
The FACET choir, made up of students and staff, entertained visitors with carol singing, and there was alo a name the doll competition.
Ms Ingram added: “People kindly donated lots of prizes for the raffle and some lovely cakes for us to sell on the day, so a wonderful time was had by all.”
