A dog has been reunited with its owner after its was stolen from outside Blockbusters film store in March.
The dog, a three year old black and tan Cavalier King Charles cross, was tied up outside the shop on Tuesday while the owner and her daughter went inside.
The woman’s daughter noticed a man lurking near the dog as they browsed around the shop and when they came outside the animal had been taken.
Police were called who recognised the description given to them of the man responsible and after going to his home they recovered the animal.
The incident happened at about 6.10pm.
