Police in King’s Lynn are appealing for information after thousands of pounds of damage was caused to a crane and five lorries in a yard in town.

Extensive damage was caused at a business premises at Bentinck Dock when offenders forced their way into a crane on the site and used it to destroy another crane (pictured).

They also smashed the headlights and damaged the windscreens of five lorries kept in the yard.

The total cost of the damage is estimated to be more than £29,000 in the incident that happened between 12pm on Sunday May 4 and 10pm on Monday May 5.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or anyone with further information concerning this damage.
