Upwell British Legion arranged for war veteran Roger Swann to lay a wreath on Upwell war memorial.
The ceremony was to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the D Day landing.
A turn out of more than 40 included Councillors David Pope and Vivien Spikings.
Gareth Crook was the standard bearer and Rev Paul Skillings conducted the service with a reading from Mr D Houghton and Mrs Spikings.
The event was organised by David Gray and his wife Pauline on behalf of Upwell British Legion
