Works are set to start on a 12 week scheme to paint and maintain the Freedom Bridge and Nene Quay retaining wall in Wisbech.
The scheme is due to start on Monday, July 28 and all works will be completed from within the River Nene side to reduce disruption to residents and businesses.
A small site welfare unit will be sited within Russell Street but positioned to ensure pedestrian access is maintained at all times.
Working times will be variable to coincide with fluctuating tides; however night works will not be allowed due to the noisy operations of preparing the sheet piles for painting.
