Internet savvy helpers stopped off in Fenland to advise residents on how to make the most of superfast broadband.
Fenland District Council’s New Horizons bus visited market places, libraries, housing estates and supermarkets during a three-day tour to show people how to get connected and get online.
Among the places visited was Manor Estate, in Doddington, which is now connected to superfast broadband.
March, Manea, Whittlesey, and Wimblington are also connected, with the rest of Fenland set to be switched on by March 2015.
Councillor Ian Bates, chairman of Cambridgeshire County Council’s economy and environment committee which is leading the Connecting Cambridgeshire rollout, said: “We want to ensure that all our residents and businesses can make the most of a fast-changing digital world.”
