May I bring to the notice of your readers the local history website wisbech.ccan.co.uk
The site is part of a volunteer run, county-wide group of local sites dedicated to collecting and displaying the ongoing local story.
The site was set up by a local group which has now disbanded. Unless successors can be found, this important local resource will be lost.
The site is easily managed, all necessary training can be given, the most burdensome task being raising £110 per annum to cover support and web hosting.
I greatly hope that, having seen the site and realised its local value, anyone interested will contact CCAN via the ‘contact us’ link on the page for further information.
