A man has been taken to hospital after being hit in the chest by a scaffolding pole in Wisbech.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) received a 999 call just after 1pm today (Monday) to Elizabeth Terrace.
An ambulance crew attended and the East Anglian Air Ambulance from Cambridge was also called.
A man in his late 20s had been struck in the chest by a metal pole, which had fallen about eight feet. He was assessed at the scene and his injuries were found to be minor.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn for further treatment.
