Staff and residents at Shelldene House in Friday Bridge roller-skated 100 miles to raise money for Comic Relief.
The boys, aged 12 to 16, and staff members completed 2,000 laps of Skaters Roller Rink at Walpole Highway.
Home manager Andrew Bradley said: “We are very proud of them. Some of them don’t normally skate and they did really well. It was the boys’ idea and we split it over two sessions at Skaters.
“I would like to say a big thankyou to Skaters for the support that they gave us.”
Gary Evison, manager at Skaters, said: “The boys and the staff did incredibly well to complete 2,000 laps of the rink for a fantastic cause. We’re proud to have been able to support them.”
