The wonders of New York were explored by more than 80 pupils and 13 members of staff from Cromwell Community College in Chatteris.
A freezing five days were spent in The Big Apple, with temperatures at a 30-year low.
A school spokesman said: “The staff would like to congratulate the students for their perseverance in the extreme cold weather conditions and excellent behaviour representing the school overseas also a big thank you to the staff who gave up their half term taking care of Year 11.”
All You Can eat American breakfast was enjoyed at the Skyline Hotel each morning and all evening meals were in New York’s famous restaurants.
During the trip three pupils celebrated their 16th birthday.
