A new website aimed at helping victims or those at risk of domestic abuse and sexual violence has gone live.

The website called www.cambsdasv.org.uk has been developed by the Cambridgeshire Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Partnership.

It is made up of key agencies in the county – including the county council, police, probation and health services – each of whom has a role in preventing and providing services and support to survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence.

The partnership brings together these key agencies with the aim of reducing the harm, risks and costs associated with domestic abuse and sexual violence and to prevent these crimes occurring across the county.

It is responsible for providing refuge places in Cambridgeshire for women fleeing domestic abuse, awareness raising and training.

The new website contains information, advice and support for the public and professionals as well details of local services and latest news and information about these issues.
