Fenland recovery firm JS Holmes has today released pictures of the charred lorry and trailer which it was called to retrieve from the A1101 north of Wisbech.
A lorry carrying 19 tonnes of straw caught fire at Four Gotes, between Newton and Long Sutton, on July 7.
Firefighters from Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire were sent to the scene and spent several hours tackling the flames.
The blaze caused severe damage to the A1101 that needed resurfacing. As a result, the road was closed for 24 hours.
