Rob Hughes’ early goal was enough to see Wisbech Town progress in the FA Cup.
The midfielder fired in a long range effort after seven minutes. The Fenmen were indebted to keeper Aaron Butcher, who made several good saves.
Things got heated - Wisbech coach Dan Dobson was given his marching orders after protesting about a challenge.
Wisbech are in to the Preliminary Round. They will host either Holbeach United or Ely City, who have a replay tomorrow night.
