Teachers from a Wisbech school have made their pupils’ wishes come true by becoming their fairy tale favourites and hosting a Cinderella-style ball.
Peckover Primary School, in Wisbech, held the ball after being inspired by studying the world of fairy tales as part of their ‘Once Upon a Time’ schedule.
Pupils from Yr 1 invited fairy tale characters such as the fairy godmother and prince charming to the grand ball, which was held in the school’s dinner hall, on Friday October 23.
Characters from the fairy tale world duly obliged, as teachers from the school raided the school’s fancy dress box and transformed into some of the fairy tales most well-known figures, such as Cinderella and her two ugly sisters.
Pupils and teachers then took the dance floor to conclude the Cinderella ball, which wrapped up the school’s first term of the academic year.
The event follows a special visit to the school from the Fairy Godmother as part of the pupils studies into the world of fairy tales.
