A man in his 50s was taken to hospital this morning after he fell on a conveyor belt and travelled about 30 meters before coming to a stop.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust received a call at 8.49am to attend the industrial accident at Kings Dyke, Whittlesey.
A rapid response vehicle and an ambulance crew attended to the patient who was not trapped but had chest pain and an ankle injury.
The man was then taken by ambulance to Peterborough City Hospital for further treatment.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
