A working replica of children’s favourite Postman Pat’s post van has been stolen from Corker’s Crisps, in Pymoor.
Staff at the crisp manufacturers on Willow Farm had been renovating the iconic replica, which is based on a Honda quad bike engine and can seat two adults.
The red van went missing between January 17 and January 31, and police are searching for its whereabouts.
A spokesman from East Cambridgeshire police said: “While Postman Pat is now struggling to deliver the post, we feel confident that this distinctive vehicle will be recognised if it is seen out and about.”
If you have any information on the van, please call 101 or pass information anonymously through CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111.
