The latest evening of music hosted by the Chatteris Music Society on Saturday was sold out.
The concert at St Peter and St Paul’s Church delighted an audience from all over East Anglia and beyond with an evening of authentic 20s and 30s swing music performed by the world famous Pasadena Roof Orchestra.
The band of 11 brilliant jazz musicians was lead by Duncan Galloway who sang, danced and presented the show with great wit and humour.
The next concert on July 9 will feature Crispian Steel-Perkins the world renowned trumpet player and authority on the instrument, its history and its music. Crispian will play some of the best in the trumpet repertoire as well as explain and demonstrate some of the antique trumpets that he collects and restores. This concert is expected to be another sell-out.
