Children and staff of Cavalry School in March ended the summer term by waving goodbye to four members of staff who have clocked up 70 years of teaching between them.
Sue Berna retired after 22 years of teaching at Cavalry. Before that, she taught at Welland School in Peterborough.
During her time at Cavalry, she taught across all age groups and was also deputy headteacher and assistant headteacher.
Janet Payne has also retired, having joined Cavalry as a key stage one teacher in 1994.
Natalie Homden has left to take up a new teaching position at Nene School, Wisbech, having taught at Cavalry for 12 years.
Nicola Searle has been a teaching assistant at Cavalry for 14 years and has left to pursue other interests.
Becky Siddons was given good luck wishes as she ended the term by beginning her maternity leave.
Joining the teaching staff in September will be Victoria Kavanagh and Laura Smith.
Cartoon style paintings by teacher Jackie Nosworthy were presented to the departing members of staff, along with gifts and memory books.
