Joe Perry’s luck at the Coral Northern Ireland Open ran out in dramatic style this afternoon.
The Chatteris potter bowed out of the competition today (November 17) after opponent Jack Lisowski sunk the final black with the scores deadlocked at 3-3 in their best-of-seven frame contest.
Perry, 42, admitted yesterday that he hadn’t been at his best during the tournament and that was evident once more as he could only muster a high break of 50.
Lisowski, who hails from Gloucestershire, chalked up breaks of 100 and 91, before sealing his place in the fourth round with the final shot of the seventh frame.
