The habits will hit the road again this month when Sister Act comes to the Cambridge Corn Exchange.
Directed and choreographed by Craig Revel Horwood, Sister Act is a musical comedy based on the movie starring Whoopi Goldberg and Maggie Smith.
It tells the story of Deloris Van Cartier (played by Joanna Francis), a disco diva whose life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a murder. Under protective custody she is hidden in the one place she won’t be found – a convent.
The Broadway and West End smash is at the city venue from Monday 12 to Saturday 17 December for a number of 2.30pm and 7.30pm performances.
Tickets; £25.50 to £42.50 each, are available from www.cambridgelivetrust.co.uk/cornex/events/sister-act or by calling 01223 357851.
