A living education business in Whittlesey is offering a competition to small schools to win a chance to get up close and personal with some of their crew including mongoose, meerkats and even a raven.
The Exotic Animal Encounter said they had opened up the chance for small schools to win one of their special educational visits.
Kelly Bates said: “After the massive success of our last competition we are running another smaller competition - this one is for a two hour experience for a small school With less than 300 children.
“You must be within a 50 mile radius of Peterborough.
“Come face to face with some of the amazing animals you only get to see in the zoo.
“Meet Our meerkat mob (The meeps), Nevaeh and Saffy the Skunks, Princess and Huff the Burmese pythons, Sirius the majestic raven, missy and magoo the mongooses and our beautiful Binky the barn owl.
“You can see them in the comfort of your own home, school, large or small event or production.
“We also have a large and beautiful selection of handleable snakes, lizards, spiders and so much more.
“Our talks, lectures and displays are not only educational but funny and a bit silly too, something that children and adults can relate to. “Everyone will get to meet and find about all of our beautiful exotic animals and learn lots about their worlds too.
“Our school talks are interactive exotic animal handling presentations some call living education, with hands on teaching and learning workshops from habitats to nocturnal animals and all in between.
• To enter this experience for your school you must like their Facebook page and comment with your schools name and share the post. The competition ends on March 3 at 8pm.
