More than 30 competitors galloped on to Upwell playing field for the village’s monthly horse and pony show at the weekend.
There were 34 classes on the day and the in hand judge was Carol Bartram. Her steward was Steph Thorpe.
The ridden judge was Emma Scotney and her steward was Shelby Cowells.
“Despite really cold weather it went really well,” Ros Shorting, who is one of the organisers and playing field committee secretary.
“It was like a January day, but we had a very good turnout.
“We’ve been holding these shows every month through the summer for the last three or four years now.”
The show was sponsored by K J Curson/Worzals and the supreme and reserve supreme trophies and rosettes were sponsored by Russell’s Fresh Meats & Family Butchers.
The next Upwell horse and pony show takes place on May 20 and the first class will start at 9.30am.
