Garden lovers have the chance to visit one of March’s secret treasures - the garden at 45 Beaver Lodge in Henson Road - next weekend (June 24 and 25).
The garden, which belongs to Paul and Maria Nielsen-Bom boasts a large number of bonsai trees both large and small, will be open for the National Garden Society open day from 11am to 4pm.
Admission is £3 for adults (children free), cake and refreshements will be available. Money raised will go to the NGS for cancer charities.
In the meantime the couple are appealing for entries into this year’s March Gardens Competition which they are organising.
It is simple to enter simply email: beaverbom@gmail.com or call 01354 656185, or post to 45 Beaver Lodge, Henson Road before the end of the month. There are four categories: small, medium, large and business. Paul and Maria will be in touch to organise judging which takes place on July 8 & 9.
