Brave staff offered to go in the stocks while around 50 students bombarded them to raise money for charity.

The event raised money for East Anglia Children’s Hospice (EACH).

Teacher Chris MacManus said: “This worthy charity has hospices in East Anglia that provide care to children who have terminal illness.

“In addition to this, they support their families during one of the most difficult periods of their lives.”

Amy-Rose Moore, a Year 7 Neale Wade student, organised the event with help from her friends Ruslana Gagejeva and Libby Harwood.

Mr Mac Manus, Yr 7 progress leader, added: “It was a brilliant event, not just to raise money, but also awareness of the great work EACH do.

“The whole academy is so proud of the excellent work Amy has done to organise the event.”

EACH is one of Neale Wade’s charities for the coming school year.
