Following a string of sell-out performances, the award-winning Sex Worker’s Opera is coming to the Mumford Theatre on Saturday 4 and Monday 6 November.
Comprised of 50 per cent sex workers, the provocative show gives a platform for sex workers who are tired of being spoken for.
This honest and uplifting show collides opera with hip-hop and incorporates sound art, projections and poetry to showcase the lives of sex workers around the world.
Experimental Experience provides a platform to tell the unheard stories of Sex Workers from 17
countries across five continents, exploring a street worker giving marital advice, a webcam model
and her ventriloquist dummy and a daughter making career choices in a male-dominated world.
Performances start at 7.30pm each night.
Tickets, £12.50 general, £10.50 concessions and £8.50 students, are available from www.anglia.ac.uk/arts-law-and-social-sciences/mumfordtheatre/sex-workers-opera-4nov
