FIREFIGHTERS are currently at the scene of a crash after a car which went through a bridge at the 16ft Bank at Chatteris. Details of the incident are still sketchy at the moment, but a car went through the Hose Way bridge and then into the river at 9am today
FIREFIGHTERS are currently at the scene of a crash after a car "which through" a bridge at the 16ft Bank at Chatteris.
Details of the incident are still sketchy at the moment, but a car went through the Hose Way bridge and then into the river at 9am today.
Four fire engines were called to the scene, of the one vehicle crash, but a person had been released from their vehicle on their arrival.
The car is still believed to be in the water, and firefighters are still at the scene.
No further information is available at this stage.
