STRIKING big wigs provided the ultimate hair-raising attraction for staff at a Fenland business, when they launched their quest to raise thousands of pounds for Sue Ryder Care.
The Fenmarc Produce team is out to prove they are a cut above the rest, with a number of charity events planned throughout the summer as staff answer the Big Wigs Challenge.
Kristi Glowacki, people/training administrator at the March-based business, said: "We are organising various events to take place over the next two months, to help us raise as much money as possible."
A football tournament against other produce companies, quiz nights, a Wii bowling competition and even an office swear jar are all in the pipeline.
Fundraising started on Friday with a cake bake which raised 69.20, but tomorrow (Saturday) five colleagues and a friend will be in Huntingdon to take part in Sue Ryder's latest 10k midnight walk.
The Big Wigs Challenge sees fundraisers given 50 by the Norwich and Peterborough Building Society, to use their entrepreneur skills to make it grow.
Money raised will be donated to the charity's Thorpe Hall Hospice at Peterborough.
