THE Boathouse Business Centre in Wisbech was highly commended in the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) East Spirit of Ingenuity Awards.
The iconic building was beaten to the top prize in the Workspace Award by the visitor centre at Anglesey Abbey, in Lode.
It was announced at an awards dinner and ceremony on Friday held at the Thomas Deacon Academy, Peterborough.
The award scheme celebrates the ingenuity, design excellence and innovativeness of architects and architecture across the region's six counties - Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.
