A TEENAGER was reprimanded for theft of an oil drum after an eagle-eyed resident alerted police to suspicious activity in Wisbech St Mary.
The resident alerted police to a 4x4 near a building site in Beeching Close at about 9.55pm on Wednesday.
Police arrived and arrested a 21-year-old man and two 16-year-old boys on suspicion of theft.
A police spokeswoman said: "A 16-year-old boy from Wisbech has been reprimanded for theft of an oil drum. The other two were released without further action."
Police also seized a green Nissan Terrano and a metal barrel recovered from the vehicle.
