RESIDENTS across Marshland are encouraged to raise any issues or concerns with police at a public meeting next month.

The Community Action Group meeting, at Tilney St Lawrence village hall at 7.30pm on Friday January 22, will give people the chance to speak directly with their local police team and help influence local policing priorities.

Terrington Neighbourhood Policing Team, based at Terrington St John beat base, is currently focusing on two priorities previously raised as a problem by local residents:

1) Reducing equine-related thefts across the neighbourhood.

2) Addressing anti-social behaviour in Terrington St Clement.

Further to this, the team is also stepped up patrols in Chapnall Close, Walsoken, following an increase in reports to police of anti-social behaviour and noise nuisance caused by off-road motorbikes and other vehicles.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to speak to a member of the team call them on 0845 456 4567 or visit their page at www.norfolk.police.uk
