POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man was badly injured in Wisbech.
The victim, aged in his early 20s, was found with severe cuts to his hands, close to a butchers shop in the Market Place of the town, on Friday (June 25) evening at around 8.45pm. The window of the shop had been smashed.
Det Con Brian Dilloway said: “This incident has left the victim with very serious injuries to his hands and arms.
“I would appeal to anyone who saw this incident or who knows who was responsible to contact police.”
Police have issued the descriptions of two men they want to speak to in connection with the incident.
The men are both described as white and believed to be eastern European.
The first man was wearing a light green coloured T-shirt and blue jeans.
The second was wearing white shorts and a blue top with a white stripe on the back across the shoulders.
