POLICE called to a supermarket car park because a child had been left alone in a car later discovered that the driver had been banned just a month earlier.
Devidas Tauckela was given a 21-month driving disqualification by Fenland magistrates on August 24 – but on September 12 he had driven to the Asda store in North End, Wisbech.
Appearing before Deputy District Judge Jones at Wisbech courthouse, the 23-year old from Hedgelands, Wisbech, admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance.
He was given a two month suspended jail sentence, and must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work. He was given a one year driving ban and must pay a �100 fine, costs of �85 and a �15 surcharge.
