Speeding tractors are being targeted by police following a neighbourhood community forum held at the Oasis Centre in St Michael’s Avenue where the condition of some tractors was also raised.
The local community asked officers to make tractors on the roads around the Waterlees area a policing priority for the next three months at the forum last Monday (July 20).
The local policing team will now be out and about cracking down on tractors speeding, in poor condition and without number plates in this area, particularly on Walton Road and Osborne Road.
