Pedestrian dies after being struck by silver Audi on A47 (Image: Archant)
A pedestrian was killed last night on the A47 at Walsoken near Wisbech.
The man, in his 40s, was struck by a silver Audi; he was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital at Kings Lynn with serious head injuries but later died.
The road was closed for approximately five hours whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or saw anyone walking along the A47 around the time of the incident should contact Swaffham Roads Policing on 101.
