Wisbech Grammar School attracted a busy crowd for its open morning on Saturday.
More than 150 potential parents and pupils turned up to the event which was held in the school’s new £2 million refectory, Skelton Hall.
During the open morning headmaster Chris Staley talked about upcoming developments in the school, including the launch of a new scholarship programme for September 2016.
The programme is designed to make it possible for talented children to achieve their full potential and there are to be two scholarship types: academic and all-rounder, for entry in years 7, 9 and 12.
Visitors were also taken on pupil-guided tours of the 34 acre site to view the school’s facilities and meet pupils and staff.
