Wisbech & District Stroke Club was presented with a £500 cheque from the Wisbech Freemasons from the Gild of Holy Trinity Lodge.
Bob Kidger, treasurer for the Freemasons, said: “The gild are pleased to support the club because it allows them to undertake work in the local community, providing social and peer support for stroke survivors, their carers families and friends.”
Peter Fewster, secretary for the Stroke Club, added: “Donations of this kind are not easy to come by and this, along with other recent donations, will ensure that the club will be able to continue for another year with no financial worries.”
