Around twelve people, adults and children, visited Octavia Hill’s Birthplace House for a dance to celebrate May Day.
The annual event is run by May pole teacher Linda Robinson who organises the dance along with a group of volunteers.
Caretaker Richard Clark said: “We had a dozen people come along and quite a few others watching.
“It was a superb event and the weather was excellent.”
